Founder, The Efficient Edge
Frustrated by the sales-centric focus of the life insurance industry, Peter Steger was determined to find a better way to objectively provide insurance consultation to his clients. In 2006, Peter created an independent, actuarial analysis process, The Efficient Edge Advantage, by bringing together new ways of reviewing and optimizing the performance of life insurance assets.
A dedicated insurance expert, Peter is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC). Peter started his insurance career in 1983, opening up the Houston office for a division of what is now AON Corp. After a couple of years, came back to Chicago to be a part of New England Financial. In 2006 he opened up his own independent financial services firm. Peter has earned numerous industry awards and is a member of Million Dollar Round Table. Peter earned his BS and Masters in Finance from the University of Illinois. He played Big 10 baseball for Illinois and was a graduate assistant coach.
